Insurgent Striking- The premier academy in N. AZ
Sweat more, bleed less
We are home to the Insurgent Wolfpack striking team, with current and past students holding state title belts under both MTIA and IKA associations. Join us, become a champion.
Classes 5 days a week
Classes are offered 5 days a week Monday through Friday. Starting with a warm up, leading into technique discussion, drilling, and ending with soft and light technical sparring.
Our Insurgent Striking program is heavily influenced by Muay Thai, also known as Thai Boxing, and also referred to as the "Art of Eight Limbs". Students are instructed on the use of punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, totaling eight striking points. Muay Thai has been proven over the ages as one of the premier and best striking martial arts in the world for self defense and striking sports: both in the ring and MMA cage.
Sometimes you win.
Sometimes you learn.
Our stiking program is heavily influenced by the traditional style of Muay Thai- the art of 8 limbs. We place a high degree of focus on technical combos, control, and movement. The Insurgent striking program can be adjusted for strict Muay Thai style fighting or, with small adjustments, for cage striking (MMA). We offer striking classes 5 days a week. Our instructors place a high focus on technique combos, counters, cage and ring control, and foot work.
