Benefits of both Sauna and Cold Plunge Therapy
Our Sauna and Cold plunge room is available as an addon service to any recurring/pre-paid membership. Our Sauna and Cold plunge room is not available for drop-ins, day pass, or week pass visitors.
Every champion needs recovery and there's no better method than utilizing both heat and cold therapy. By incorporating our Sauna and Cold Plunge sessions, you offer your body comprehensive support: boosting the immune system, enhancing blood flow to alleviate muscle soreness and aid in recovery, and elevating overall performance, energy levels, metabolism, and mood. Additionally, this regimen promotes better sleep, ensuring you're ready to conquer your next challenge.
Once you have added the Sauna & Cold plunge to your account, you can reserve the room anytime*, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Reservations are booked in one (1) hour increments at the top of every hour. Keep in mind, access to reserve your spot is based on your membership access level to the facility - meaning if you have a limited access membership (BJJ only, Muay Thai only, Daylight hours only, Midnight hours, etc.), your reservation time must be within the limitations of your facility access.
* You cannot reserve the room for more than 2 hours in a single day.
Switching from a hot to cold causes the body to naturally increase volume of blood flow. This happens when the body naturally constricts and dilates blood vessels. This effect also helps to improve vascular and cardiac response.
Immediately switching to cold after the sauna jumpstarts the body's response between constriction and dilation of the body's blood vessels. Over time, this helps your body to optimize blood circulation.
Alternating between hot to cold helps your body to recover from fatigue within 24-48 hours after your training session. Study's have also show combining hot therapy followed with cold therapy reduces painful joint inflammation.
Hot and Cold therapy becomes the most beneficial when performed frequently. Studies show the more regular and frequent an athletle uses both hot and cold sessions during their training, sees significant health and performance improvements.
